Rate – $48.51 then to $50.21 October 1st.
Hours – Dayshift – 5am-1pm Monday to Friday

The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of a busy manufacturing plant by carrying out both preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical breakdown repairs across production equipment
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Fault finding and root cause analysis
- Servicing conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Equipment installations and continuous improvement projects
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
About YouTo be successful, you’ll ideally have:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner
- Previous experience in manufacturing, food, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
