Maintenance Fitter | Day & Night Shift | Kilcoy, QLD

Blackbook Executive is recruiting multiple Maintenance Fitters for a large food manufacturing and processing operation in the Kilcoy region. With continued growth and investment across the site, we are seeking experienced tradespeople for both day and night shift teams.
What’s On Offer?

• Day Shift: $48.28/hr
• Night Shift: $56.08/hr 
• 4:00am – 4:00pm or 4:00pm – 4:00am
• 5 on, 4 off / 4 on, 5 off roster
• Genuine overtime available
• True time-and-a-half for the first 2 hours overtime
• True double time thereafter

The Role Working within a maintenance team of more than 70 trades professionals, you’ll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across a large-scale 24/7 processing facility.
Typical equipment includes:

• Conveyors
• Pumps
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Meat processing equipment

About You

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• NZ Citizenship status
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, meat processing or industrial environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Q Fever vaccinated or willing to obtain
