Maintenance Fitters (Food Manufacturing)
Location – Inner North West Metro

$50/hr + Shift Loading + Penalties + OT + Super | Rolling Roster | 38 hrs/week, OT average 50hours per week

Join one of Australia’s leading food manufacturing operations, employing over 400 people on site and running a high‑volume, high‑performance production environment. We are seeking three experienced Maintenance Fitters to join the team across a rotating Monday–Friday roster.

This is a fast‑paced FMCG facility with strong safety systems, modern processing equipment, and a highly skilled maintenance department. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and working with automated machinery, this is the role for you.

• +30% Night Shift Loading

• Pre planned Preventative Maintenance on Sundays for extra shifts
• Average 50 hours per week (38 hrs contracted + regular OT)
• Monday–Friday rolling roster:
  • AM: 6am–2pm
  • PM: 2pm–10pm
  • NS: 10pm–6am
• Stable, long‑term work in a major national food production facility

Your Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across high‑speed food manufacturing equipment
• Mechanical fault‑finding, diagnostics, and root‑cause analysis
• Working across conveyors, ovens, packaging lines, mixers, pumps, pneumatics & hydraulics
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with site procedures
• Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain output

What You Bring

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (highly regarded)
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work across rotating shifts
• A proactive, safety‑focused approach
