The Company
This manufacturing business is continuing to experience strong growth, further securing their position as a top manufacturer within their sector. As such, there is also a greater focus on ensuring operational excellence and driving efficiencies through better planning and understanding of their plant & equipment. As part of this focus they have a need for a Maintenance Planner to join their team based in Queensland.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Planning weekly maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
- Driving maintenance improvements by implementing new systems and strategies.
- High focus on Contractor Management
- Preparing and project managing plant shutdowns.
- Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
- Vendor management, purchasing and requisitions.
- You will also be responsible for driving improvements in their long term maintenance plans and providing visibility of overall equipment effectiveness.
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will:
- Ideally having a Trades Background (Mech or Electrical)
- Have proven experience within a large and complex food, pharmaceutical or packaging manufacturing business as a maintenance planner.
- Have a proven background of managing a CMMS system – ideally Mex, Maximo or SAP.
- Proven experience developing a preventative maintenance environment.
