National Maintenance Planner role. Be responsible for production efficiency across numerous Australian sites.
The Role:
My client is a leader in the food manufacturing industry, commited to delivering high quality products. They are constantly evolving, and continuing to experience strong growth. As such, there is also a greater focus on ensuring operational excellence and driving efficiencies through better planning and understanding of their plant & equipment. As part of this focus they have a need for a National Maintenance Planner to join their team based in the Southern Suburbs of Brisbane.
Reporting to the Reliability Manager your will be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisors across sites over Australia to plan, schedule and coordinate all maintenance activities
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment
- Preparing and managing major plant shutdowns
- Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
- Allocating spare parts
- Assist with implementing overall preventative maintenance strategy
Your Background:
- Previous experience in a maintenance planning role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
- Trades background
- Have a proven background of CMMS system – ideally MEX
- Strong problem solving and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication skills
