Lead the Maintenance team on the afternoon shift! Great opportunity to grow in an industry leading food manufacturing business.
The Company:
Our client is a fast paced and growing food manufacturing company. They are currently seeking a proactive, hands on Maintenance Supervisor to manage and optimise maintenance operations, ensuring equipment and facilities are running safely, efficiently, and in line with food industry standards.
This is a Full Time Afternoon Shift role based in Geelong, offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make an impact on day to day operations.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include;
- Supervise a team of trades across day to day operations
- Coordinate and execute preventative and reactive maintenance
- Ensure that maintenance requirements are met and within the parameters of safety, cost, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages, and OH&S are adhered to.
- Take a CI approach to increasing productivity and efficiency.
Your Background:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:
- Ideally trades background
- Prior experience working within the manufacturing sector
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP and Australian Standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
