The Opportunity:

My client is a global leader in the FMCG industry, dedicated to producing high-quality products while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
They are seeking an experienced hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to join the Engineering team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:

  • Supervise and manage a team of 15 trades, overseeing day to day maintenance 
  • Oversee timely completion of planned and unplanned maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Provide technical expertise and support across all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) projects to boost reliability and efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop team members to build capability and technical skills.
  • Foster strong communication between Maintenance, Production, Quality, and HSE teams.

Your Background:

  • Mechanical or Electrical background (Trade or Degree qualified)
  • 3–4 years prior experience within FMCG manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
