Maintenance Fitter – PM Shift | Food Manufacturing Full-time | $50/hr + 15% shift allowance + tool allowance

An established and fast-growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their onsite team in a high-volume production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, well-supported role with consistent hours and strong overtime potential.

Shift Details

• Permanent PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday + overtime and occasional Saturdays (as required)

Key Responsibilities

• Support production through proactive and reactive maintenance
• Carry out fault finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
• Perform fabrication and repair work on food processing machinery
• Minimise downtime and improve plant reliability
• Assist with site upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures including LOTO, PPE, and guarding
• Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and production team to prioritise work

About You

• Trade qualified – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or Fitter & Turner
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Skilled in fabrication, machining, and TIG welding
• Experience within food manufacturing or production environments highly regarded
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused mindset
• Forklift licence (LF) – desirable but not essential
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Full working rights in Australia
