The Company
Our client is a high-end, Australian owned boutique construction company renowned for delivering premium, end-to-end projects across commercial and bespoke environments. With every project managed in-house from concept through to completion, the business prides itself on quality, precision, and strong supplier partnerships.
The Role
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across multiple fit-out projects
- Source, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to achieve best value and quality outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a large supplier base (approx. 250 suppliers)
- Work closely with project managers, design, and operations teams to align procurement with project timelines
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and compliance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining premium quality standards
- Ensure procurement processes align with internal policies and project requirements
Your Background
- Proven experience in a Procurement Officer role, ideally within construction, fit-out, manufacturing, or project-based environments
- Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with strong commercial and cost-control awareness
- Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across internal teams and external suppliers
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
