The Company
We are partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing business with a strong footprint across ANZ. Renowned for delivering high-quality products and continuously investing in their operations, they are seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This opportunity has arisen to support the team through a period of leave, playing a key role in maintaining seamless end-to-end procurement operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Managing the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to purchase order and supplier management
- Leading supplier negotiations to drive cost savings and improved commercial outcomes
- Coordinating RFQs, pricing reviews, and contract negotiations
- Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships and performance metrics
- Producing routine reports across spend, supplier performance, and inventory
- Analysing procurement data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
- Working extensively with Microsoft Dynamics (D365) for procurement, inventory, and reporting
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, stock availability, and system integrity
Your Background
- Proven experience in a Procurement Coordinator within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence decisions
- Experience producing routine reports and insights for stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across suppliers and internal teams
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
