The Company

Our client is a recognised market leader within their sector and is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team at their Dandenong manufacturing facility. This role will play a key part in delivering capital and operational engineering projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget and to agreed specifications.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of capital projects across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and delivering a program of planned capital works, both autonomously and in collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
• Leading projects from concept and design through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Ensuring project objectives are achieved to a high standard, in line with established systems, processes and governance frameworks.
• Coordinating internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering.
• Proven project engineering experience within a complex / high risk food manufacturing environment, delivering multi-disciplinary projects end to end. 
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, with the capability to manage, report on and execute complex capital projects.
