A senior Data & Analytics Project Manager contract role leading delivery, governance, and testing across a complex data warehouse and reporting transformation.

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a large, enterprise-scale Australian organisation undergoing a major data and analytics transformation as part of a broader integration program.
This is a hands-on delivery role, requiring strong data warehousing experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate change in a complex business environment.

The Role
Reporting into the Data & Analytics IT Sponsor and working closely with a central PMO, this role owns the end-to-end delivery of a Data & Analytics workstream. The focus is on delivery execution, test management, stakeholder alignment, and governance, rather than high-level strategy.

You will be responsible for:

• Owning end-to-end delivery of a Data & Analytics workstream
• Developing and managing plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and budgets
• Coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and system integrators
• Managing testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing
• Ensuring defects are tracked, prioritised, and resolved
• Reporting progress, risks, and issues into a central PMO
• Using Azure DevOps for backlog, delivery, test, and defect management
• Managing business stakeholders through reporting and data changes
• Navigating resistance to change and negotiating outcomes without escalation
• Working diplomatically with data owners and business teams

Your Background
You’re an experienced Data & Analytics Project Manager, not a generic PM, with a proven track record delivering data warehouse and reporting initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience delivering Data & Analytics or Data Warehouse projects
• Strong test management capability
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments
• Familiarity with data warehouse migrations (SAP BW highly regarded)
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within a PMO governed environment
• Calm, pragmatic, and collaborative delivery style
• Experience in M&A, carve-out, or integration programs is highly desirable.
