My client is looking for a Reliability Manager to improve asset performance, drive reliability strategies and optimise plant uptime in FMCG.
The Company
My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer with a strong presence across the Australian market, producing high-quality consumer products for both domestic and international customers. With continued investment in its manufacturing operations and a strong focus on asset performance, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Reliability Manager to join the engineering leadership team.
This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
The Role
Reporting into the site Head of Operations, the responsibilities of the role includes:
- Developing and implementing the site’s reliability strategy to maximise equipment performance and asset life
- Leading reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across a large manufacturing operation
- Driving preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve plant availability
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA and asset criticality assessments to reduce equipment failures
- Working closely with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Supporting capital projects by providing reliability and maintainability input throughout the project lifecycle
- Using CMMS data and reliability metrics to identify trends and drive data-led improvements
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
- Experienced within a Reliability Engineer, Senior Reliability Engineer or Reliability Manager position
- Strong technically with experience implementing reliability-centred maintenance strategies
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, condition monitoring and preventative maintenance programs
- Experienced within FMCG, food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical or another continuous manufacturing environment
- A collaborative leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, maintenance and operations
