The Role

In this role you will be supporting multiple sites across SA and NT, based in Adelaide with travel to Darwin. You will act as a key safety partner to site leaders, working closely with operations to drive safety outcomes, improve systems and build capability on the ground. Responsibilities include:

• Partner with site leaders to drive safety culture and improve safety outcomes
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of safety systems and processes
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and site inspections across operations
• Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on safe work practices and compliance
• Lead and support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Facilitate safety training, including behavioural and operational safety programs
• Support contractor management, traffic management and site safety initiatives
• Review and improve site documentation including risk assessments and procedures
• Contribute to safety reporting, metrics and ongoing performance improvement

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment
• Background in a Safety Advisor / BP level role (or similar)
• Strong understanding of risk management, incident investigation and audits
• Experience working closely with operations in a hands-on capacity
• Ability to influence, coach and build relationships with frontline teams
• Comfortable working autonomously across multiple sites
• Certificate IV in WHS (or similar qualification)
