Maintenance Shift Electrician $49 – $57/hr + Penalties + Overtime + Career Development

Are you an A-Grade Electrician looking for a hands-on maintenance role where no two shifts are the same?

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing site operating within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of automated processing equipment, gaining exposure to all aspects of plant operations while developing your technical capabilities.
What’s on Offer?

• $49hr, $53hr $57hr per hour depending on experience and classification level
• Level 1, 2 or 3 rates available
• Sunday Double Time Overtime
• 6-day fortnight roster
• 12.6-hour shifts
• Afternoon / night shift operation with current start times between 11:00am and 12:00pm
• Full PPE provided
• Q Fever vaccination provided
• Stable, long-term employment with a well-established Australian food manufacturer
• Exposure to a wide variety of equipment, systems and production processes

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production and processing equipment
• Fault finding on electrical, control and automated systems
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining site safety and compliance standards
• Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime
• Assisting with plant upgrades and project work as required

About You

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, meat processing or heavy industrial environments highly regarded
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in both hot and cold operating environments
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
