The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well established Australian food manufacturing business with a strong national footprint and growing international presence. Operating across multiple production sites, the organisation is continuing to invest in its supply chain capability as part of an exciting growth phase.

Due to this, they’re looking to appoint an experienced S&OP Manager to lead and evolve their planning capability across the business.

This is a key role at the centre of the operation, responsible for aligning demand, supply and production capability. You’ll take ownership of the S&OP process, working closely with commercial, operations and supply teams to drive improved planning outcomes and overall performance.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OP process across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule, balancing demand, supply and capacity.
• Align forecasts with operational capability and supply inputs.
• Identify risks and constraints across supply, demand and production, and provide proactive solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, systems and reporting.
• Facilitate supply reviews, ensuring visibility of short, medium and long-term capacity.
• Partner with commercial teams to shape demand and provide alternative solutions where required.
• Work closely with operations to improve efficiency, service levels and cost outcomes.
• Support budgeting and scenario planning through data-driven insights.

Your Background

• Proven experience in S&OP / IBP within a large scale FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, capacity planning and scheduling.
• Experience operating across complex supply chains.
• Highly commercial, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
