About the Company
Our client is a global engineering and manufacturing leader supplying innovative mechanical systems to major mining and industrial operators. With strong momentum in the Australian market, they’re investing in a key role to expand their presence across Western Australia’s operating mines.
The Role
Reporting to the National Mining Manager, the Sustaining Capital / MRO Engineering Specialist will uncover and deliver opportunities within brownfield mining environments – focusing on sustaining capital and maintenance projects.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that blends technical expertise with commercial execution. You’ll work closely with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to deliver solutions that improve reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sustaining capital and MRO opportunities across WA mine sites.
- Build strong relationships with owner engineering, maintenance teams, and contractors.
- Provide technical advice and develop proposals demonstrating lifecycle cost benefits.
- Support site trials and collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to align targets and capture long-term revenue growth.
To succeed, you’ll bring:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5–10 years’ experience in mining, maintenance, or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of sustaining capital projects and MRO cycles.
- Confident communicator with strong technical, business and commercial acumen.
- Self-starter who thrives working independently and on site.
