The Role

  • Oversee all inventory control activities, including daily reconciliations, stock takes, and cycle counts
  • Manage and develop two direct reports, fostering a proactive and high-performing team culture
  • Utilise automation systems to streamline inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce variances and enhance accuracy
  • Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to forecast stock requirements and plan ahead for peak periods
  • Prepare and present reports on stock performance, movement, and discrepancies

Your Background

  • Proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, forward-thinking mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams
  • Comfortable working with warehouse management and automation systems
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
