We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a major national food manufacturer operating a modern, high‑volume production facility.

The Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll oversee a team of Maintenance Electricians and Fitters, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment. You’ll coordinate breakdown responses, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
This role suits a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys developing people, processes, and plant performance.

Salary & RosterSalary Package: $130,000 + super + overtime
Roster:

• 12‑hour shifts
• Thursday to Sunday
• Every second Monday off
• Stable, structured roster offering excellent work–life balance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance trades
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritise workload
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs
• Ensure plant reliability and minimise downtime
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, equipment performance, and processes
• Maintain compliance with WHS, quality, and food safety standards
• Work closely with production and engineering teams on upgrades and improvement projects

About You

• Trade‑qualified in Mechanical or Electrical (Cert III or higher)
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within manufacturing
• Strong troubleshooting and decision‑making capability
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills
• FMCG or food manufacturing experience highly regarded
• Confident managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
