Standalone Head of HR role to build structure, reduce risk and embed a proactive people function within a growing, multi-site operational business.
About the Company

About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for taking full ownership of the HR function. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will transition the business from a reactive HR model to a proactive, structured and commercially aligned people function.
Operating in a complex environment with multiple modern awards, a shift-based workforce and varying employment conditions, you will play a key role in reducing risk, improving consistency and building internal capability.

- Build capability within line managers to manage people issues effectively
- Review and enhance HR systems, policies and documentation
- Manage external HR/IR providers while building internal capability
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, structure and hiring strategy
About You
- Experience in a senior HR leadership role (Head of HR or HR Manager level)
- Background within blue-collar or operational environments (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, construction)

- Proven experience managing complex ER matters, investigations and disputes
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, non-corporate environment
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and providing clear direction
- Execution-focused with the ability to drive outcomes, not just advise
Culture & Benefits
- Down-to-earth, non-corporate environment with a practical leadership team
- Opportunity to build and shape the HR function from the ground up
- High level of autonomy and visibility across the business
- Clear mandate to drive change and make a tangible impact
