The Company
Our client is a well-established, medium-sized food manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and long-standing customer partnerships. They are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their collaborative Operations team, playing a key role in managing supplier relationships, supporting new product launches and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across local and international supplier portfolios.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, service and commercial performance.
- Work closely with the NPD team to source suppliers and materials for new product development.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and commercial agreements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and supply continuity.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews.
About You
- 2-5 years procurement experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience working across supplier contracts, sourcing and procurement projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
