We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a fast‑paced food manufacturing operation on a full‑time afternoon shift. This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, thrives in a high‑output production environment, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

About the Role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of production and packaging machinery. The work is varied, essential to daily operations, and offers strong long‑term stability in a well‑established facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive and preventative maintenance across production lines
• Mechanical fault‑finding on high‑speed packaging and processing equipment
• Servicing conveyors, ovens, mixers, pumps, motors and automated machinery
• Completing maintenance logs, safety checks and compliance documentation
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

What You Bring

• Trade qualification: Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter
• Experience in FMCG, food, beverage or packaging manufacturing
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely within strict hygiene and compliance standards
• Comfortable working a full‑time afternoon shift (12pm–8:30pm)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
