Salary – $125,000 + super 

Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a leading food manufacturing business?
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing manufacturing site on a permanent night shift roster, working 7 days per fortnight on 12-hour shifts.
The OpportunityYou’ll be responsible for keeping a busy food manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently, working across a range of production, packaging and processing equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically skilled tradesperson who enjoys a hands-on role and wants the benefits of a permanent night shift roster with plenty of time off.
About the Role

• Permanent night shift position
• 7 days per fortnight
• All shifts are 12 hours
• Preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
• Fault finding, breakdown response and repairs
• Mechanical maintenance of production and packaging equipment
• Equipment servicing and continuous improvement
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Fitter with:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent
• Previous experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing environments
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and automated production equipment
• Ability to work independently on night shift
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
