An exciting opportunity to join a growing Australian-owned FMCG business in a fast-paced environment! We are looking for a commercially minded Inventory Analyst who enjoys working with data, investigating discrepancies and identifying opportunities to improve inventory performance.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person.
 
The Role

• Analyse inventory data, identify trends and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy and stock movements.
• Interpret data to provide meaningful insights and support commercial decision-making.
• Identify inventory risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support inventory optimisation and operational performance.
• Prepare reporting and provide recommendations to improve stock availability and working capital.

 
About You
 

• Previous experience in an Inventory Analyst or inventory-focused role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read, interpret and investigate data.
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of how inventory impacts business performance.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working full-time on-site within a busy FMCG operation.
