The Company
An exciting opportunity to join a growing Australian-owned FMCG business in a fast-paced environment! We are looking for an experienced Production Scheduler who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys problem-solving and can effectively manage production schedules to support operational efficiency.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person.
The Role
- Develop, maintain and optimise production schedules to meet customer demand and operational requirements.
- Coordinate production planning activities, ensuring resources, materials and capacity are effectively aligned.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential delays and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
- Work closely with production, planning, procurement and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyse production data, identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Balance competing priorities and adapt schedules in response to changing demands and operational requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in a Production Scheduler or Production Planning role within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning and manufacturing processes.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working full-time on-site within a busy FMCG operation.
