Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Shifts: Day, Afternoon, and Night (Mon–Fri)

• Day: 6am–2pm — $53/$55/hr
• Afternoon: 2pm–10pm — +15% loading
• Night: 10pm–6am — +30% loading
  Overtime: Weekly overtime available

About the Role

A fast‑paced food manufacturing facility in Tingalpa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. You’ll be responsible for electrical fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and supporting production to minimise downtime while upholding strong safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on production and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
• Support PLC fault finding and perform minor program modifications
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise production delays
• Ensure all work meets food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Requirements

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in manufacturing (food industry experience advantageous)
• Strong electrical fault‑finding skills on automated production equipment
• Experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar)
• Solid understanding of WHS regulations in manufacturing environments
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Flexibility to work across rotating shifts
