The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of a fast-paced food manufacturing facility by:

  • Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance across production equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults efficiently
  • Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems
  • Completing scheduled maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Assisting with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams to maximise plant performance
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and food quality

About You
To be successful, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Previous experience within food, beverage, FMCG or manufacturing
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance
  • A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
