Maintenance Fitter
Location: North Fremantle WA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Rate: $47 – $48 p/h + super + overtime
Hours: 6.30-3pm Monday to Friday. 1 hr break (30 minutes paid) 
Overtime: Overtime available!!

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working collaboratively to minimise downtime while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support continuous production.
• Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience 
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills (desirable).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
