Maintenance Fitter – Night Shift
Rate: $66.30 per hour – Inclusive of 30% nightshift loading
Overtime: HEAPS OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE MIDWEEK AND WEEKENDS!!
Shift: Monday–Friday, Night Shift
Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am 

Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking to maximise your earnings while working for a leading FMCG manufacturer?
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing site on permanent night shift.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, long-standing maintenance team within a busy FMCG environment, with plenty of overtime available for those looking to boost their weekly earnings.
The OpportunityYou’ll be responsible for keeping a busy production facility running efficiently, carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of automated manufacturing equipment.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery
• Responding to breakdowns and completing mechanical fault finding
• Mechanical repairs, servicing and equipment adjustments
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
• Working closely with production and the wider maintenance team
• Ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping

About You
We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter with:

• Mechanical trade qualification
• Previous maintenance experience within FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience working with automated production equipment
• A strong preventative maintenance mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work independently on night shift
