Regulatory Affairs Associate supporting product compliance, documentation and supplier management in a fast-growing food business.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Food Technologist, you will play a key role in maintaining product compliance, supporting documentation, and working closely with suppliers, internal technical teams and customers. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating product documentation (PIFs, SDS, specifications, certifications)
  • Conducting regulatory checks across domestic requirements (FSANZ) and supporting TGA, Halal, Kosher, Organic and export-related compliance
  • Completing supplier questionnaires and supporting customer documentation requests
  • Working cross-functionally with Food Tech, Sales, Customer Service and Operations
  • Managing ingredient information and liaising assertively with suppliers to obtain required regulatory data
  • Supporting SQF-related regulatory tasks 
  • Assisting with sampling, lab support and documentation
  • Staying across regulatory changes and updating internal systems accordingly
  • Supporting team projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

  • Experienced in Regulatory Affairs within food, ingredients or flavour manufacturing
  • Confident working with PIFs, STS, specifications and compliance documentation
  • Comfortable communicating confidently with external stakeholders 
  • Knowledgeable in food regulations (FSANZ, certifications, labelling, ingredient rules)
  • Experience in ingredients ideal 
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth and ready to contribute in any way possible
