The Role

Reporting to the National Quality Assurance Manager and working closely with the Site Manager, this role will strengthen food safety performance and support operational excellence across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide leadership of the food safety and quality assurance team onsite with the support of the national quality assurance team.
  • To coodindate, implement and manage the Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • To manage activities relating to the preparation, organisation and sucessful outcome of all regulatory customer GFSI or other third-party audits.
  • Provide leadership on managing new systems or site processes that link to food safety or quality performance.
  • Proactively drive root cause analysis and determine trends which need to be actioned.

Your Background

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or related degree.
  • Proven Quality Assurance or Food Safety site leadership experience in an FMCG Manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to influence at all levels
